Medical & Veterinary
Medical Care
St. Luke's Hospital is a 15 bed inpatient facility offering 24 hour emergency care, obstetrics, surgical services, CAT scan, mobile MRI services and others, a combination rare in an area of this population. The hospital is affiliated with St. Luke's Regional Medical Center in Boise and utilizes the Air St. Luke's and Saint Alphonsus Lifeflight helicopter transport for emergencies beyond its existing scope of services. McCall also has an EMS service and an organized search and rescue team. Phone 208.634.2221
Many area residents pay a $50 annual membership fee to either the Life Flight Network or Air St. Luke's. Both programs cover out of pocket expenses for medically necessary flights to Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Boise, the major trauma center for all of southwestern Idaho, to St. Luke's in Boise or other facilities as needed.
